This is the last day of the Android 10 cents app sale that celebrate 10 billions app sold. Through out the sale, some apps reappear couple times. I notices the most apps on sale were games and not much other kind of apps. Nonetheless, I bought many apps that worth my 10 cents at least. It was too good of deal to pass up. The app that I enjoy using so far is Pano, that take panoramic pictures. It is fast and easy. Even it might not be the best panoramic app in the market but given it is 10 cents and very easy to use.

"10 days of offers top premium apps 10 cent per app" in android app stores
Since two days ago which mean Dec 6, Google offers 10 apps everyday for 10 days for 10 cents. I bought at least 6 apps everyday. Even the app the I don't use or I don't think it is useful. I been thinking it is good that i do that or not. For once, I think it is very cheap for some app like the app offer today such as Tetris that usual price is 3.99 but for today it is 10 cents. Even I know I don't play that game too much, I know it is one of the life time that this app is so cheap. 1/10 of a dollars. For next couple days. I know I will buy at least 6 apps everyday too. What I really thinking now is it is worth it? I know it is cheap but what is the point of buying some apps that I like but I don't use. Maybe I bought it for fun but since I have no income any more. Should I do that or shouldn't I. I don't know the answer but all I know is it just really cheap and buy it before it went back to normal price. For anyone that want to look at it, click here.

update to my Acer laptop
Been using this laptop everyday that I have class which is every Monday to Thursday. It works as I intended. The battery last me the whole day with no problem at all. The wifi works perfectly. I mainly use Google service like Google Music, Google Doc and Gmail. All of them need internet which mean I can stay connected all the time in School. It is a perfect laptop for me. 13 inch which is small enough to carry and light enough to not put any weight on my shoulders while in my bookbag. It is no mac book air but it is still light enough.
I must this laptop 9/10 for overall as good laptop. Fast, light enough, and I just wish it is 12 inch so it is little more smaller.

Laptop and project
The new laptop is great, just as any other review said the battery last 9 hours. The charge time is pretty fast, from 10% to all the way up to 100% only required 2 hours. I am loving this laptop. Everything is quick and snappy. No problem at all. I put this computer into power saving mode all the time but I can still watch video, stream music, watch YouTube and browse the web at the same time. The screen is good, bright and no dead pixel. I haven't use the web camera since I am not a web camera person. The speaker is loud, the keyboard is roomy enough so I hardly press the wrong key. I just wish the mouse pad is little bigger. Beside that This is one of the best laptop.
Our project the smart is finally done. We pick smart phone because we felt smart phone is the future. As our phone contain almost all the information we need. In next couple years, I bet we can leave our house without our wallet. Our phone can act as credit with Google Wallet, even it is only on Sprint network. As other carriers see its usefulness, they will probably adopt into their network and every body can use it as credit card. so the only thing we need to protect is our phone rather than phone and wallet. In the future, hopefully next thing we can replace is the key. With phone activation door, that would be the future. Hopefully it is coming soon since I really hate carrying my keys around.

New laptop
I bought a new laptop yesterday as the Chromebook keep on failing me. My CR-48 inconstant wifi card problem, I couldn't deal with it any more. Sometimes, I was taking note in classroom, the wifi would stop and since I always use Google Doc to take note, the Google Doc would switch to offline mode which I cannot take note at all. It is very problematic. When that happen, I have to open another tab and open a offline note taking app within Chrome. It can be use offline which is great but the functionality wise, it is not so good. Took me couple week to finally landed on a laptop that I thought it is good and battery that last long.
I have a Dell XPS m1330 laptop at home. It is 13 inch which is perfect for its size to bring any where I want. It is light too. Its problem is battery. It only last little less than 2 hours. When I use it at home, it is no problem because I can charge it anytime I want but in school it is different story. I have to worry about its battery life and keep it to 100% before any class start. It is very troublesome.
As I figure, I need a laptop with a modern spec, not over price and last me the whole day of school which generally require a battery life of 7 to 9 hours. Took me a while to find a laptop like that. At first I was thinking get a Macbook Air. It is light and last pretty long. My friend bought one and install window 7 on it to use for his school. He said it is good, fast, and very portable. The battery life is good enough for him to last the whole day but the price is different story. It costs $1000+. That is not option for me. It just too expensive for its cost. Took me a while but I finally found a laptop that suited for me. Acer Aspire TimelineX AS3830T-6870 is a laptop that is low price, modern spec and last for 9 hours. The main spec I look for when I bought this laptop is the CPU and the battery as everything else can be lower. The CPU is Intel i5 dual core with 2.4 Ghz and battery life of 9 hours as I said before. It came with window 7 home edition. I have the professional edition at home, I can upgrade it or leave it the way it is. I bought this laptop for $663.71 in newegg.com. I also look at Amazon's price, at first I thought Amazon's price would be cheaper since on the website it only cost around 620 but when in check out with tax, the tax alone is $55 and the final cost is around $677. I made that it is better to buy it from newegg and save me at least $10. The review for this laptop can read here.

Galaxy Nexus is finall out but.....
Yesterday, Google finally show their next flagship device, Galaxy Nexus. I was disappointed with the name, I was really hoping for "Nexus Prime" instead. However, since I have no right in the naming process, I only live with it. Google new Nexus phone site is up. The phone overall was as standard as it can get. Hardware wise, almost nothing change. Upgrade of duel core, 1.2 Ghz, 32 GB internal storage, 1.5 megapixel front camera. That is all i remember.
The main point of new flagship device is not much about hardware, it is about the software. The introduction of Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.0. It has many of the new function. Most interesting one i found is facial unlocking feature. As right now, I know you have option to switch to facial unlocking or normal figure gesture to unlock. I think it is very silly to have facial unlocking. I know I wouldn't want to see bunch of people in the train to smile at their phone just to have it unlock every time they want to skip to the next song.
The phone will be come out to Verizon first but hopefully, it will come out to other carriers soon. I know Nexus S also getting the new update but probably get it by end of this year. I hope my Nexus One also get the update also. As much as, I love my Nexus S, I still want Galaxy Nexus and I won't set mine to facial unlocking. Thanks but no thanks.

Chrome OS
I received the laptop CR-48 from Google since April of this year. At first, I was happy since I was one of the thousand people that Google pick to test out their Google Chrome OS on CR-48. The best thing is just fill in a form and get a free laptop. There is no question in my mind that I shouldn't do it. It was fun to try something new beside Window. I tried couple version of Linux and I find it kind of confusing to use. I also tried to use Mac OS, it is okay, I never get use to it because mainly it is too expensive to buy a Mac and in Window, it is for me to get free software. In another word, I am a PC. (just like the commercial) Window might not be perfect but at least I feel comfortable enough to use it and to reformat it.
As I use more Chrome OS, I find it, it is very unstable. It is fine, if you have WiFi in your house to check email and stuff. However, I tried to use it in Baruch and take note with it. I find it very troublesome. This laptop gave me couple problem, the WiFi was unstable and very slow. I fixed the WiFi problem. I thought it was the Chrome OS software that wasn't polish enough to stabilize the WiFi adapter in my CR-48 but I found out, it was internal problem. Before I fixed it, I do what anybody else would do which is Google my way out. I found out, it wasn't just me that had this WiFi problem. I read some post that if I take apart of the laptop and remove the WiFi adapter and pull it back in again, it would fix it. Guess what, since I didn't see any screw under the laptop, I once again had to Google my way to how to take apart of this laptop. It took me two tries to finally stabilize my WiFi. I fixed the WiFi problem but there is slowness on the web page loading. Which I know I can't fix that. Good thing is Google is continue to update Chrome OS and improve it hopefully. That put another question in my head, I wonder is the slowness of page loading has to due with CR-48 or is the Chrome OS laptops (Google called it Chromebook) that on sale now have same problem? The other two Chromebook is made by Samsung and Acer.
The wonderful thing about Chrome is I can sync all my data between Chrome browser and Chrome OS which is basically a browser anyway. So no matter where do I go or which computer I use, as long as there is Chrome browser. I can enter my Google account to Chrome to sync all my bookmark, password and other stuff. I will never have to worry about important my bookmark from one computer to another computer ever again. That will save me time to switch between computer.
In end of the day, I sometimes wish there is a 10 inch laptop that run window and last about 8 hours but since there is none and I don't to buy a Mac. All I have is this CR-48 that I am using and you can read more about it in here.
